An End of Year Update and Message from Team Firesprite
This year has been one full of challenges and adversity. We’re so very proud of the way our sprites have united, adapted and flourished in these unprecedented times.
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of every single member of our team, we were still able to celebrate several studio achievements and highlights. We brought our critically-acclaimed PSVR survival horror roguelike, The Persistence, to new platforms, developing and optimizing the title for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC to a fantastic reception.
We’re thankful to have welcomed a huge 82 new members to Firesprite this year, with over a dozen nationalities now represented in our expanding studio!
We thrilled to have been awarded business growth and development awards from The Sunday Times and Northern Tech.
Several of our sprites shared their time and knowledge as guests and speakers at industry spotlight events and online collaborations.
We’ve also seen our community grow and thrive, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to you all for being a part of our journey this year. Your support, kind words, feedback and chats mean a great deal to us. And the GIFS - we’re always appreciative of your quality GIF game! We can’t wait to share more with you next year.
We’re excited to have over 50 career opportunities available as we continue to expand our studio and develop incredible (and top secret!) projects as we head into the new year.
