Firesprite raise £1,454 for Macmillan Cancer Support
On the 24th of September, we were so excited to celebrate with Macmillan Cancer Support, raising our mugs to support this wonderful charity in the world’s biggest coffee morning! This year, Firesprite had another a day of fundraising fun for this incredible team who “do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can” for those who have been affected by cancer.
Thanks to the generosity of our amazing sprites, we’re delighted to have raised £692 on the day, which was then doubled by Firesprite giving us a total donation of £1,454 for this crucial charity.
We celebrated with virtual coffee mornings, a ‘guess the number of sprinkles on Colin the caterpillar’ competition, a baking quiz and - of course - showcased our gaming themed cake creations!
In classic Firesprite style, we truly had some absolutely fantastic bakes! Our talented sprites created some stunningly delectable delights, competing in a virtual bake-off. A huge congrats to our three star bakers this year, Jake, Becky and Fiona who baked the mouth-watering Dreamcast chocolate cake, Astrobot mallows and Jurassic World brownie and biscuits!
A massive thank you again to everyone who donated and to all the sprites who made this such a fantastic day.
