Thanks to a special collaboration with the Firesprite community, our April Ecologi contribution was our biggest to-date!
In January of this year we announced our partnership with environmental social enterprise, Ecologi. Ecologi responsibly plant trees and support carbon reduction projects, offering impactful climate solutions which help businesses and individuals be climate positive.
We proudly contribute to our very own Firesprite forest every month and, in honour of Earth Month, we knew we wanted this April to be our biggest contribution yet. Throughout the month we doubled all of our usual contributions and planned a special event for Earth Day 2022 on April 22nd!
Inspired by this year’s Earth Day theme: “Invest In Our Planet” we sent out wildflower seedbombs to all of our sprites to plant and sprinkle around to support their local bees, butterflies and insects.
We also asked our community to work together with us to invest in this incredible planet we call home; committing to plant 10 trees for every share and RT of our Earth Day posts across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
We were absolutely blown away by the amazing results! 956 shares and RTs for a huge 9,560 trees planted!! Thanks to this astounding effort, combined with our own contributions, we were able to plant 12,650 total trees for Earth Month!
In collaboration with our amazing sprites and community, and in partnership with Ecologi, we’ve very proudly planted 18,325 trees so far since January, and we’d like to say a very special thank you to everyone who helped us make Earth Month our biggest month to-date.
