The team raise a mug for Macmillan!
On Friday the 30th of September, we proudly hosted our annual coffee morning fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support and raised £3,400 for the incredible charity.
Every September, Macmillan Cancer Support arrange the world’s biggest coffee morning to raise money and awareness for the invaluable work they do to support those who have been affected by cancer.
In classic Firesprite tradition, we were so excited to do our part and #RaiseAMug for Macmillan!
We celebrated with virtual coffee morning groups across the studio, cream tea care packages, competitions, team quizzes and - of course - showcased our gaming-themed cake creations.
Our sprites outdid themselves once again, crafting delectable delights in our virtual bake-off.
A great big thank you and congratulations to all those sprites, their families and friends who baked truly mouth-watering treats this year – Chloe S, Ryan, Anna, Stephen K, Fiona, Lee and Stu T; and a very special congrats to the years’ star bakers! Chloe H who baked Alexander from Elden Ring, and Elena and Meilė who baked a Stem Cell Harvester from our very own horror sci-fi roguelite, The Persistence, all took home the prized title!
A massive thank you again to everyone who donated, to those who organised the festivities, and to each and every one of our sprites for taking part - you all made this such a fantastic day!
