Our friends at Global Butterflies kindly returned to our studio again for another fantastic LGBTQIA+ workshop today!
Global Butterflies work to help businesses become more trans and non-binary inclusive, educating allies and supporting the community through consultancy, events and much more.
Our previous sessions with their incredible team introduced us to workplace issues facing the trans and non-binary community and identified how to be effective and supportive trans and non-binary allies.
The LGBTQIA+ Past, Present & Future workshop helped us understand LGBTQIA+ terminology and explored heteronormativity and intersectionality. It raised awareness of LGBTQIA+ history and presented current identity statics. It also equipped us with the skills and confidence to be a proactive and successful LGBTQIA+ ally.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Global Butterflies for another insightful workshop, and for the informative Q&A section which kindly gave our sprites the opportunity to further discuss and explore topics directly with our host. The session was packed with useful resources and truly appreciated by our whole team!
