Planting 1,000 trees to celebrate "Our Power, Our Planet"
In our continued efforts to be a climate positive studio, we’re excited to mark this significant day and call to climate action theme of “Our Power, Our Planet”, with a donation of 1,000 trees to the reforestation and carbon offsetting projects of our friends at Ecologi.
Having just celebrated our third anniversary with the social enterprise - who have responsibly planted over 60 million trees so far! - this latest contribution takes us to 91,121 trees in our own ever-growing Firesprite forest!
These trees have directly impacted projects across Senegal, Mozambique, Madagascar, Kenya and Tanzania. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Ecologi, we can see the real-world impact of the tree planting projects we have proudly helped to fund:
🌱 Forest restoration in Kenya: 1,000 trees funded
🌱 Restoring degraded land in Senegal: 130 trees funded
🌱 Reforestation in Mussuquelane, Mozambique: 600 trees funded
🌱 Reforestation in Changalane, Mozambique: 1,195 trees funded
🌱 Mangrove planting in Marotaola, Madagascar: 8,165 trees funded
🌱 Planting trees and supporting water security in Kenyan forests: 8,670 trees funded
🌱 Planting forest gardens in Tanzania: 11,605 trees funded
🌱 Forest restoration in Kenya: 14,545 trees funded
🌱 Mangrove planting at Kandrany, Madagascar: 16,825 trees funded
🌱 Mangrove planting in Irregele Milato, Mozambique: 28,386 trees funded
